Relative Absence

Between my studies and work on my sixth novel, I haven’t been updating much here.

That isn’t to say I don’t think about it.  You can’t have an experience like mine and not be changed for the rest of your life.  But you will have periods when living in the moment provides some relief from the angst of wondering just what the point of it all really is.

Periods like these usually come when the memories are sparse and life demands a lot from me in the here and now.  I am basically supporting myself by living as a student for the time being, so it demands my absolute attention when assignments are due.

Summer term will be six grueling weeks.  I signed up for online classes which will take the time-wasting business of commuting to and from class out of the picture, but I’m unlikely to have much spare time until my summer break in July.
